This service is designed to support full systematic reviews, defined as follows:
- A clearly stated set of objectives with pre-defined eligibility criteria for studies
- An explicit, reproducible methodology
- A systematic search that attempts to identify all studies that would meet the eligibility criteria
- An assessment of the validity of the findings of the included studies, for example through the assessment of risk of bias
- A systematic presentation, and synthesis, of the characteristics and findings of the included studies.

The Library Network’s systematic review support is based on close collaboration between you and your librarian. An initial search strategy or research proposal should be emailed before consultation or you can request support to develop them (via www.quest.scot.nhs.uk).
This service is available to all NHSGGC staff. We may turn down requests based on our internal capacity and workloads or refer you to another staff member.
Note: "n/a" = option not available at this level.
