If you use Google Scholar regularly, you may have seen that they now provide a button that you can install on your browser (Firefox or Chrome - Internet Explorer doesn't support this feature). This allows you to:
- Check for full-text articles available from Library Search. For example, you can use this on a publisher website, PubMed, Wikipedia. Simply highlight the title of an article and click on the button to check for access.
- Export citations into reference management software, e.g. RefWorks.
You will need a login to Google to use this feature. If you then follow the instructions from the Knowledge Network to set up thelinkresolver in Google Scholar and then download the add-on, you can see how this works.
Please watch this short video for an overview of this feature.
