So the scenario is that you have an event for 30 people, but during that event there will be 3 break out sessions capped at 10 people each. So how do you allow 30 people to sign up to your event, but limit each break out session to 10 each - you create sub events! Here's how:
1. Create your event as usual
2. When creating your registration form, create your sub events by listing them as options in a single selection question type. See the example below - in Break out session1 there are 3 options:
3. Next go to the Rule icon within your question:
4. Under each Session select the options "If number of participants" is "Greater than or equal to"; then in the next box put the total number of participants for each session (in this example it is 10); then select "hide this option". This means that once the total number participants is reached for each session then that option will disappear from the registration form.
And that's it!
You may also want to see how you can download the participant list for each sub event - instructions on how to do that are here: Webropol events - printing a sub event summary
