Webropol is the survey tool available for use by NHSGGC staff.
Within Webropol it is possible to set up notification emails to be triggered when a respondent submits a response to your survey. The default email is very basic but it is possible to do more.
For instance you may find useful to receive a notification email with the responses embedded into the body of the email itself to save you logging into Webropol to see the response. You do need to use a little bit of code to enable this, the instructions are below. Note that the following instructions are specific to version 3.0 of Webropol.
- Within the Edit tab select Settings.
- At the top of the list is Notification Alarms, choose the second option "Survey Creators Notification Email". Fill in the details required. (Note that the orange save button will not display until you do.)
- Then in the body of the email, underneath what is there, you can add the following:
- Answer to question 1 (here you can actually put this question): [qanswer1] - note those are square brackets and there are no spaces. You can keep going replacing 1 with 2 and so on.
