Webropol is the survey tool available for use by NHSGGC staff.
Within Webropol it is possible to set up notification emails to be triggered when a respondent submits a response to your survey. The default email is very basic but it is possible to do more.
For instance you may find it useful to receive a notification email with the responses embedded into the body of the email itself to save you logging into Webropol to see the response. You do need to use a little bit of code to enable this, the instructions are below.
- Within the Edit tab select Settings.
- At the top of the list is Notification Alarms - click on "Survey Creators Notification Email" and fill in the details required. (Note that the orange save button will not display until you do.)
- Then in the body of the email, underneath what is there, you can add the following:
- Answer to question 1 (here you can actually put this question): [qanswer1] - note those are square brackets and there are no spaces. You can keep going replacing 1 with 2 and so on.
