The Clinical Knowledge Publisher (CKP) was developed in 2011 by NHS Education Scotland and NHS Tayside. It was developed with the intention of creating visual representations of patient pathways, however it can be used for any purpose where a flow chart or decision making process or even a mind map type work needs to be visualised.
It's benefits are:
1. It's free - registration is required.
2. You can share work between boards or even other sectors (e.g. HE or 3rd Sector) in Scotland.
3. You can collaborate with colleagues.
4. Organisations now also have their own publishing platform where published pathways can be searched or browsed.
5. Its very easy to use.
